Chauntry was the first company in the world to develop reservation systems for parking. We remain the market leader through our innovation & dedication.
Our company was formed in 1991 by Ray Vaughan and Theresa Hughes, who carried out a management buyout of the Travel Reservations Division of GPT (GEC/Plessey) Data systems. They quickly refocused the company, and as a result, Ray (who was, and still is, a software developer) pioneered the development of the first airport & hotel parking reservation system in 1992, which was adopted by Holiday Extras, another pioneer & market leader in the distribution of ancillary holiday products.

We are a PCI Level 1 accredited Service Provider and have been since 2010.
Social Responsibility
At Chauntry we take our social responsibility very seriously. We don’t just talk about it and we don’t do it because we feel we should. We do it because as a company we have a strong sense of ethics and conscience.
The Chauntry Scholarship, the first Computing Sciences Scholarship at the University of East Anglia (UEA), was awarded for the first time in September 2016. The Chauntry Scholarship aims to help a student who comes from a low-income household to be able to attend UEA and to develop the skills that have enabled Chauntry Ltd to develop into the business it is today.
